Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the IB curriculum, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation.

Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and authentic contexts to develop communication and global awareness.

Assess and monitor student progress regularly, using data to enhance learning outcomes.

Collaborate with colleagues across departments to create interdisciplinary projects and meaningful learning experiences.

Participate in extracurricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events to enrich student learning.

Engage in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in French, or a related subject

  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (preferred)
  • Experience teaching the IB MYP/DP is desirable but not essential
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage

Passionate about languages and intercultural understanding

  • A strong understanding of current pedagogy and student-centered learning
  • Ability to create engaging, inclusive, and innovative classroom experiences
  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous professional growth
