Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate minutes of all committee meetings, ensuring timely distribution and adherence to established protocols.
- Coordinate the scheduling of meetings, including logistics, agenda preparation, and distribution of relevant materials, ensuring all members are well-informed.
- Maintain organized records of committee decisions, actions, and follow-up items, ensuring easy access and retrieval for all stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for committee members, providing support, guidance, and information as needed, fostering effective communication.
Desired Candidate Profile
Prepare the appealed case files for the appeals committee, ensuring all cases are scheduled and organized appropriately. ▪ Facilitate communication between the dispute parties and the appeals committee, adhering to the appeals committee’s directives and maintaining confidentiality. ▪ Record detailed minutes of appeals committee meetings, including determinations made and correspondences issued, ensuring accuracy and completeness. ▪ Implement the appeal committee's determinations by coordinating the appearance of dispute parties and experts before the appeals committee, according to the scheduled dates and times. ▪ Notify parties involved in disputes of the appeals committee's determinations using remote communication technologies or other legally accepted methods, ensuring timely and clear communication. ▪ Manage the presentation of determinations to the relevant parties and oversee the process of obtaining the necessary signatures to finalize these determinations. ▪ Compile and prepare periodic statistics on determinations and case files to assist in the appeals committee's review and planning processes. ▪ Follow up on the escalation of appealed case files, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken for timely resolution and reporting. ▪ Perform additional tasks and duties as requested by the appeals committee, providing flexible support as needed. Self-Management Responsibilities ▪ Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year ▪ Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended ▪ Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role. ▪ Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
