About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible to:
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expand company s customers base and ensure its strong presence.
• Present sales, revenue, expenses report and realistic forecast to the management team.
• Execute and monitor the sales activities in an assigned region in order to achieve the sales targets as well as meet the yearly business plan.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure that the communications with the agents or customers are processed properly until payments are concluded and verified.
• Ensure compliance with the sales policies and procedures.
• Explore new opportunities for opening new markets and seek any possible way to convert those opportunities into sales.
• Finds business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
• Keep up to date about customers needs and product knowledge to provide them with better customer service.
• Make regular visits to customers to obtain feedback and identify their needs.
• Respond to customers and agents inquiries regarding product information timely and quickly.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining well-informed on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Predict market prices by analysing markets behaviours as well as utilizing the information resources in a way that ensures the maximum profitability to the organisation.
• Ensure that the record of all sales orders and related shipment information are updated properly.
• Update customer information on the internal customer database.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Follow up end-to-end processing of the sales order to ensure that it is in accordance with the customers requirements and the shipment is delivered on time.
• Follow up on product complaints and their timely resolution to unsure the complaint is finalised within the agreed processing time.
• Prepare a weekly report that shows the sales performance in an assigned region.
• Coordinate with all related departments like logistics, Customer service, Finance, etc. in order to ensure the timely completion of the end-to- end sales.
About You:
You will ideally be required to have the following requirements.
• B.S Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Process Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Sales experience in Industrial Petrochemicals and Plastic products .
• Good Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Understanding of Petrochemicals like Polypropylene and Polyethylene and their downstream applications.
• Familiar with SAP Sales Module.
