Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on HVAC systems, identifying issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Perform complex repairs and maintenance on various types of air conditioning units, ensuring peak performance and longevity.
- Install advanced HVAC equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards while minimizing disruption to building operations.
- Manage and mentor junior technicians, providing training on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and replacements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with building management and clients to develop tailored maintenance plans that optimize system efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, integrating new methods into service offerings.
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Conduct energy audits to recommend efficiency improvements, helping clients reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
- Utilize specialized tools and software for diagnostics and maintenance, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for technical training in HVAC systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in air conditioning installation and repair, demonstrating a strong track record.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred, with proficiency in English and a second language enhancing client communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and team members alike.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in challenging environments, including lifting heavy equipment.
