Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  1. Maintain accurate and complete accounting books as per applicable IFRS.
  2. Responsible for closing of accounting books in co-ordination with other departments and ensure appropriate documentation for all transactions.
  3. Ensure monthly and quarterly management reporting within target dates.
  4. Responsible for annual closing and preparation of audit schedules.
  5. Responsible for VAT compliance and timely VAT filling.
  6. Assisting reporting manager for day-to-day activities and in projects such as ERP implementation, internal audit & Corporate tax implementation.
  7. Perform Bank, supplier, customer, Intercompany and inventory reconciliations.
  8. Oversee payment processing through cheques and online transfers.
  9. Oversee WPS salary and benefits accrual.
  10. Others job responsibilities as assigned by reporting manager / management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications required :C.A. / CA intermediate/ other equivalent

Relevant UAE Experience : 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in UAE

Job location : Dubai, UAE

Skills Required: Knowledge of applicable tax laws such as VAT, Corporate tax, ESR etc. , Knowledge of accounting standards, ICV, and advanced MS office

Availability : Should be able to join at short notice
