Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS

  • Manage group consolidations and ensure accuracy across multiple entities

  • Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing

  • Ensure compliance with VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in the UAE

  • Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions

  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls across accounting functions

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA or equivalent)

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience

  • Recent experience within a Big 4 firm (EY, PwC, KPMG, or Deloitte) is highly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial consolidation

  • Practical experience in VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) is essential

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with solid experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance with IFRS standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in taxation within the UAE.
