Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insights into financial performance.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
- Professional accounting / finance qualification is an advantage (CPA, ACCA)
- Proficient in the Arabic and English languages
- 5 - 8 years of experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations
