Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

At Olive Country (FMCG Trading & Distribution company under Ghassan Aboud Holding) we are seeking for a Senior Accountant for Finance team in Dubai, UAE


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Manage month end and year end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT requirements, and internal financial policies

  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cashflow management

  • Improve financial processes and implement best accounting practices

  • Financial analysis and provide insight to support business decision making

  • Processing the supplier payment on time and timely follow up and reconciliation of receivables

  • Accrual and prepayment

  • Assets management

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills or Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of accounting experience in UAE

  • Background experience in FMCG, Retail, ECommerce industry will be preferred

  • Must have a professional degree in accounting/finance (Pref. CA/ACCA pursuing or completed)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standard, receivable, payables & VAT
