Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard assets.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure proper classification of transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, CMA is a plus.

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing plant.
