Senior Accounts Manager

The Senior Accounts Manager will serve as the custodian of financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity. The role carries endtoend responsibility for the accounting function, ensuring that books are clean, controls are strong, reporting is timely, and the finance function operates with discipline and transparency.

This is not a support roleit is a finance leadership role with direct impact on decisionmaking, audits, taxation, and business readiness for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Core Accounting & Bookkeeping Ownership

• Full ownership of daytoday accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
  
• Ensure accurate monthend and yearend closing in line with IFRS and best accounting practices
  
• Maintain robust documentation and auditready financial records at all times
  

2. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  
• Deliver detailed MIS reports to senior management covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
  
• Provide financial clarity and insights to support management decisionmaking
  

3. Compliance, VAT & Controls

• Manage VAT compliance, filings, reconciliations, and audit support in the UAE
  
• Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements
  
• Design, implement, and strengthen internal controls, approval matrices, and financial governance frameworks
  

4. Audit & External Coordination

• Act as the primary finance SPOC for internal and external auditors
  
• Lead audit preparation, closure, and implementation of audit recommendations
  
• Coordinate with consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies as required
  

5. Payables, Receivables & Cash Flow

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and vendor reconciliations
  
• Monitor cash flow, payment cycles, and working capital discipline
  
• Partner with operations and procurement teams to control costs and validate expenses
  

6. Team Leadership & CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Lead and mentor junior finance team members, ensuring accountability and high standards
  
• Work closely with sales, operations, procurement, and leadership teams to align finance with business activity
  
• Support ERP/accounting system enhancements and finance digitisation initiatives
