The
Senior Business Analyst is responsible for establishing CLM charter by
performing and managing advanced analysis to derive data-driven insights to
inform strategy and tactics. The Job Holder needs to work closely with Product
and Segment Heads/ Managers and provide analytics support spanning the entire
gamut of Cards and Asset products Sourcing Analytics (Trends and other Data
insights, Propensity Models for X-sell), Portfolio Management (Balance enhancement,
Segmentation basis value proposition and Engagement for differential customer
targeting, Retention Strategies basis Predictive Attrition models, channel
migration and Engagement strategies) and provide appropriate analytical support
for all the key business initiatives.
Specifically,
the jobholders will support the following
Stakeholder management &
Strategic Planning
• Effectively
work with Heads/managers across departments to prioritize analytics
initiatives, communicate findings and identify actionable recommendations
for the business.
• Serve as
the thought leader and expert on customer analytics to provide guidance to
key business partners around scoping, designing, executing strategies and
analyzing and communicating the impact.
Advanced analytics
• Drive
higher Cards Spends through activation, build (transaction frequency and
transaction diversity), retention and winback campaigns.
• Support
the cards portfolio growth by identifying sales opportunities for DAC /
IPP through CCO
• Ensure the
right pricing for portfolio products by using segmentation / optimization
techniques
• Assist
in the budgeting exercise by providing a forecasting framework that can
help assess the right targets for the business as well as help simulate
the impact of various acquisition portfolio management strategies on the
topline / bottomline.
Help identify the right opportunities in a
risk-reward framework by working closely with GRC.
Main Tasks:
Drive early
activation through score / segmentation based strategies.
Drive
transaction frequency / spend diversity of existing customers through
clustering / segmentation
Prevent spend
attrition through proactive intervention based on attrition scores.
Winback /
reactivate spend delinquent customers through segmentation driven strategies
Drive portfolio growth through CCO
sales of DAC / IPP / ALOP and other value added services
Ensure
pricing optimization so that yield is optimal
Identify trends in portfolio
movement and develop forecasting models to assess optimal targets
Develop a
simulation framework to help assess the impact of various acquisition /
portfolio management actions on the revenue / profits
Work closely
with GRC / Risk to identify opportunities to grow the portfolio by balancing
risk and rewards

Desired Candidate Profile

Post Graduate
in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
Proficiency
in Analytics and BI tools like SAS, Cognos, Oracle OBIIE SAP etc.
Experience,
Knowledge & Skills :
-Minimum 5 years of analytics experience in Cards
analytics
-Prefer to have at least 4 years of relevant
experience in banking or financial services.
-Excellent understanding of advanced analytics
techniques such as segmentation, clustering, profiling, modeling techniques,
and statistical interpretation
-Ability to communicate insights in an engaging,
visual way to non- analytical colleagues and clearly present these data rich
insights so key messages can be actioned.
