Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Technical Coordination: Serve as the primary architectural coordinator between the site team, design consultants, and sub-contractors. Manage the process of obtaining, reviewing, and distributing all Issued-For-Construction (IFC) Architectural Drawings.
  • Submittal Management: Lead the review and approval process for all architectural material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications and design standards.
  • Site Issue Resolution: Manage the flow of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Technical Queries (TQs). Provide timely, practical, and technically sound solutions to on-site architectural and finishing issues to maintain construction progress.
  • Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Work closely with the Quality team to ensure all architectural works, including facades, internal finishing, and joinery, are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Compliance & Approvals: Possess a strong understanding of local authority approvals and international building codes. Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant Dubai/UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Architectural Management: Oversee the architectural scope of work on site, managing interfaces between architectural, structural, and MEP trades to prevent conflicts and ensure a cohesive final product.
  • Software & Modeling: Utilize Revit Software as an expert tool for review, coordination, and validation of design changes and model accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • EducationMust hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.Experience10-15 years of experience in Architecture, with at least 5+ years working specifically for a Main Contractor on high-rise projects.Project HistoryProven experience on high-rise or mid-rise building projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).Core ExpertiseProven experience in design coordination and hands-on construction-stage architectural management.Technical KnowledgeStrong understanding of international building codes, local authority approvals (e.g., DM, DDA), and construction methodologies.Software SkillsExpert in Revit Software is mandatory. Proficiency in AutoCAD is also expected.LocationMust be based in the UAE and available to join on short notice.
