Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Asset Planner will be responsible for managing and optimizing NEP s production equipment, technical assets, and resources to ensure seamless project execution. This role involves strategic planning, lifecycle management, and coordination with operations, production, and finance teams to maximize asset utilization and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an asset management strategy for production equipment, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Plan and forecast asset needs based on upcoming projects and production schedules.
  • Coordinate with production teams to allocate assets efficiently, avoiding shortages or underutilization.
  • Track asset lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, repair, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Maintain an accurate asset database and ensure all records are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage budgets, cost tracking, and asset valuation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards regarding equipment handling and usage.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on asset utilization, efficiency, and forecasted needs.
  • Support cross-functional teams during audits, inventory checks, and operational reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 7 years of experience in asset management, preferably in media production, broadcast, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
