Roles & Responsibilities
Senior Associate – Finance, Accounting & Operations
The Senior Associate – Finance, Accounting & Operations will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with Group Financial Policies and regulatory requirements. The role oversees financial reporting, treasury operations, project accounting, and operational coordination, providing actionable insights to support management decision-making and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and improve financial procedures and internal controls.
Financial Operations
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Treasury, and General Accounting.
Ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
Support operational teams with financial guidance and insights.
Financial Reporting & Audit
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; prepare management and audited accounts.
Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for adjustments.
Project Accounting & Profitability
Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
Validate project invoices, POs, and financial transactions.
Provide financial support to project teams for decision-making.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
Manage cash flow planning and liquidity.
Monitor and optimize working capital across operations.
Banking & Financial Institution Management
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Manage credit facilities, loans, Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, and bid bonds.
Operational Financial Coordination
Ensure coordination between finance, operations, procurement, and projects.
Track financial instruments and support operational decision-making.
Financial Analysis & Business Support
Analyze financial results and provide insights for cost optimization and profitability.
Participate in strategic, procurement, and contract discussions to ensure financial alignment.
Team Leadership
Mentor and manage finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Desired Candidate Profile
15 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager / Finance Manager role.
Strong knowledge of:
Financial accounting principles
IFRS standards
UAE regulatory and compliance requirements
Experience with:
ERP systems (Oracle mandatory)
Financial modeling
Advanced spreadsheets and financial tools
Financial analysis and business insight
Budgeting and forecasting expertise
Cash flow and working capital management
Strong negotiation and banking relationship management
High attention to detail and accuracy
Leadership and team management capabilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Problem-solving and strategic thinking
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
