Collaborate with the AVP Group VAT and the wider tax team to execute comprehensive indirect tax strategies aligned with the group's objectives and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the review of indirect tax-related transactions and documentation.

Ensure adherence to accounting department policies and procedures, emphasizing compliance with UAE financial reporting statutes, standards, and best practices.

Participate in the preparation of indirect tax returns and related filings.

Support the implementation of robust indirect tax compliance processes across the entities.

Assist in the periodic and annual indirect tax reporting to the authorities.

Stay informed about changes to indirect tax legislation, providing input on their impact on the business.

Identify opportunities to optimize indirect tax positions and mitigate tax risks.

Assist in managing relationships and responses to indirect tax audits initiated by tax authorities.

Assist with the implementation of relevant indirect tax updates.

Provide training and guidance to the tax team and relevant stakeholders within Finance, Accounting, Internal Control, and other departments.

Participate in the review of intercompany and related party reconciliations, facilitating timely resolution of reconciling items.

Support and monitor audit processes for the assigned area, ensuring timely completion.
