Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The main job purpose of AutoCAD Designer is to create an accurate technical drawings / layouts using the software computer aided design like AutoCAD and with the following roles:

  • Consult with Presales & Design Engineers to interpret design concepts and requirements of detailed working drawings in order to prepare 2D / 3D drawings of complex integrated security systems or ELV systems using AutoCAD software or any other software that could meet the requirement.

  • Converts hand drawings and sketches into CAD layout or plans.

  • Updating and revising drawings based on feedback and modifications required from the Engineers.

  • Review drawing to ensure compliance with procedures of drafting and engineering standards

  • Calculate quantity of civil works, cables and related accessories on the basis of distances from Google Earth in order to assist Engineers in estimating BOQs

  • Site visit if required only to gather details like dimensions, actual site layouts and etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

ELV system shop drawings, as-built and schematic diagrams

Bachelor’s Degree and with certifications on 2D & 3D / rendering drawings
