Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Implement high-performance applications via integration with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate client-side applications seamlessly.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Develop and maintain software documentation for effective process tracking.
• Ensure effective integration of data storage solutions, including databases.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to propose and implement optimal practices.
• Execute unit testing and ensure robustness with automated testing frameworks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Assist in defining backend architecture and technology stack choices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong understanding of web server and database architectures and technologies.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or other Python frameworks is essential.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Prior experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud is advantageous.
