Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall planning and execution of construction activities for aviation apron and airfield projects valued between 50M and 250M
- Review and validate contractor construction schedules, critical milestones, and execution strategies in active airport environments
- Develop budget estimates, staffing plans, and resource forecasts for Parsons scope of services and monitor performance against targets
- Ensure timely availability of subcontractors, specialist services, and major equipment suppliers to maintain productivity
- Assign and manage construction teams, inspectors, and resident engineers across multiple apron and airfield work fronts
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization to maintain schedules and achieve budgetary objectives
- Identify potential construction risks and problem areas, implementing preventive and corrective actions to protect key milestones
- Prepare periodic progress and performance reports for senior management and client review
- Conduct performance evaluations and support promotions and salary recommendations for direct reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory and aviation standards
- Act as the primary interface with client representatives, subcontractors, and government authorities on construction matters
- Maintain strong client and community relations and coordinate with adjacent and interfacing airport projects
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant construction management experience
- Proven experience delivering airport, airfield, or apron infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer certification is required
- Strong background in field construction management within live airport operating environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing senior inspectors and construction administration teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
