Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in telecom design roles.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom systems design for onshore projects; PMC experience on EPC projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in relevant design tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review telecom design deliverables in compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems within overall project design.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and material take-offs for telecom systems including fiber optics, structured cabling, and communication networks.
  • Ensure designs meet constructability, safety, and quality standards while optimizing cost and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in design reviews, resolve technical queries, and liaise with vendors for specialized telecom equipment.
  • Maintain adherence to project schedules and deliverables, supporting timely completion of design packages.
  • Contribute to HSE compliance and promote best practices throughout design development.
