Senior Electrical Engineer Arenco Architectural & Engineering Consultants

Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning for large-scale industrial building projects across the UAE. The candidate will have solid experience managing site execution, ensuring compliance with local authority standards (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA), and coordinating between design consultants, main contractors, and MEP subcontractors. • Lead the site supervision of electrical systems for high-end commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments across the UAE. • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of: o Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems o Power distribution networks, substations, switchgear and Industrial Installations. o Internal and external lighting systems, including street and façade lighting o Fire Alarm (FA) and Emergency Lighting systems o ELV systems including CCTV, access control, and security systems o Grounding and lightning protection systems o Solar PV systems (where applicable) • Oversee electrical works for industrial facilities, factories, warehouses, and service buildings. • Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and UAE local authorities’ regulations. • Conduct design reviews, shop drawing reviews, material inspections and constructability assessments during construction stages. • Coordinate electrical works with civil, architectural, Structural and mechanical disciplines to ensure seamless integration in line with local authority requirements. • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and mechanical teams to resolve design and site issues. • Lead electrical testing and commissioning, ensuring systems meet project performance and safety standards. • Prepare progress reports, QA/QC documentation, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. • Ensure all works comply with DEWA / ADDC / SEWA / FEWA and international standards (IEC, BS, IEEE). • Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors to maintain consistent quality and safety standards.

Quality, Safety & Compliance • Ensure strict compliance with UAE electrical codes and standards, including: o UAE (RAK) regulations o UAE Fire & Life Safety Code o IEC, BS, NEC, and relevant local authority requirements • Monitor site quality and support the preparation of: o Monthly quality reports o Inspection and compliance tracking logs o Vendor and material approvals. o Ensure adherence to HSE/FLS policies, site safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
