Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables for offshore facilities
Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load lists, cable schedules, and equipment layouts
Perform electrical calculations including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, and cable sizing
Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment
Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications
Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration
Ensure compliance with project specifications, offshore standards, and applicable international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
Participate in design reviews, HAZID / HAZOP / model reviews as required
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5–8 years of Oil & Gas experience
Mandatory onshore project engineering experience
Strong experience in FEED / Detailed Engineering / Design phases
Proficiency in electrical engineering tools (ETAP, EDSA, or equivalent – preferred)
Knowledge of onshore electrical systems including LV/MV distribution and hazardous area classification
Ability to work independently and meet tight engineering schedules
