Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work to determine

project requirements.

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive electrical cost

estimates (materials, labor, subcontractors, equipment, etc.).

  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive

pricing.

  • Prepare and present bid proposals and cost reports to senior management.

  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.

  • Maintain estimating databases and documents for future reference and audit.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator with 10+ years of experience in electrical estimating for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, reviewing technical documents and drawings, and supporting the commercial bid process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction

Management, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in electrical estimating, preferably within

MEP or electrical contracting sectors.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and ability to interpret technical

drawings.

  • Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
