Senior Engineer - Fire Safety
The team works in real time to make sure the right people are in the right place airside and landside to meet demand. As our airports are the world s busiest, it s fast-paced and a real challenge. They see that the operational plan is followed, and issues are dealt with across terminals, regular operations, incidents and crisis handling. The operation has to be industry-leading, and it always is.
What You ll Deliver
- Youll consult, review, and approve architectural Fire & Life Safety plans and strategies in line with UAE Fire Code and other applicable standards
- Youll review and approve technical specifications for the various fire and life safety materials/ systems.
- Youll support the development and enhancement of standards, policies, and guidelines for departmental functions and fire safety management in DA
- Youll consult and provide technical inputs for the various technical documentation submitted by the internal & external stakeholders.
- Youll conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for clients, contractors, and building occupants
What You Bring
- You ll be educated to a Bachelors degree in Fire Engineering, acquired 5 - 3 years of relevant experience and 7 - 10 years of overall experience
- You ll have excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.
- You ll have excellent communication skills and technical writing.
- You ll have Civil defense certification or CFPS certifications from NFPA
- You ll have technical knowledge of AutoCAD; or related systems.
