Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design the tests, execute, and troubleshoot the integration of various subsystems, ensuring compatibility and adherence to specifications.
Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure that the system components work together seamlessly.
Develop and execute test plans for system-level, integration, and field testing.
Conduct system validation and verification (V&V) to ensure all subsystems meet performance requirements and functional specifications.
Troubleshoot system issues and work with engineering teams and developers to resolve them in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain configuration control for all system components, ensuring the latest versions are accurately tracked.
Work with KATIM configuration management tools to support system configuration, document control, and change management processes.
Prepare technical documentation including test plans, test reports, but reports, and change request forms.
Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders regarding integration progress, test results, and identified issues.
Being able to develop software and scripts
Ability to use SDKs/APIs to script and integrate 3rd party software (with support from senior developers if needed).
Follow electrical integration and safety procedures under supervision; support compliance activities.
Ensure that electrical systems meet required performance and safety standards.
Implement and enforce electrical safety standards to guarantee the safe operation of electrical components within the system.
Ensure compliance with relevant military and industry safety regulations during integration and testing.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in system engineering, specifically with integration, testing, and configuration management.
Experience in military systems integration, or combat systems.
Experience with test planning, test execution, and test reporting.
Familiarity with integration tools and software configuration management systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with military specifications and standards.
Experience with military systems, field testing, or defense technology.
Knowledge of automation tools for testing and configuration.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
