Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works in oil & gas process plant construction projects.
  • Analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs) and identify project scope and key requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to obtain updated material and subcontractor pricing.
  • Develop pricing strategies, risk assessments, and value engineering options for competitive bidding.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals including technical and commercial submissions.
  • Conduct site visits (when required) to gather technical inputs and assess local conditions.
  • Maintain estimation databases, unit rates, and cost libraries for continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in cost estimation within the oil & gas sector, preferably with a subcontractor.
  • Proven track record of bidding on multi-million-dollar EPC or process plant & Industrial building construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, market rates, and contractual requirements.
  • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
