Senior Executive Assistant to a High-Ranking Official
Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated professional to serve as a Senior Executive Assistant to a High-Ranking Official in KSA. This is both a demanding and rewarding role, in which the successful candidate will provide a senior official with executive, administrative, and development support.
The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities. The Senior Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities. The candidate should have strong English language and Arabic language skills with previous experience in a similar role working for either a high-profile CEO and/or government official.
Key responsibilities and duties:
The Senior Executive Assistant will support across a wide range of tasks, including:
• Assists with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas
• Compiling documents and presentations for meetings
• Complete critical aspects of deliverable with a hands-on approach
• Communicates directly and on behalf of the official with staff and 3 rd parties, as directed. Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the official, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and deals confidential matters with discretion
• Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
• Assists with the documentation of high-level meetings and events
• Coordinates with other executives and support staff to ensure a high-performing work environment
• Maintains highly effective working relationships with officials from other agencies
• Helps to establish and maintain consistent, high-quality communication standards
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Master s degree preferred
• Experience working within a similar role for a high-profile individual
• Minimum 10+ years in a similar role
• Expert level of written and oral English and Arabic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
• Demonstrated success in remaining flexible in fast-paced work environments while maintaining high standards under pressure, including capacity to set priorities, work to tight deadlines, and multitask
• Research and analytical skills
• Advanced in using different computer programs and technologies, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
The position comes with a generous remuneration package that includes visa, accommodation, health insurance, relocation expenses, one-month leave, and an annual plane ticket to country of origin
