For the Finance and Administration Team of Tebodin Middle East in Abu Dhabi we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have 10 years operational experience, of which 5 years in a senior role.
In this role you will take responsibility for the financial planning and control as well as advising the management on business matters concerning the difference offices, within the framework of Bilfinger Tebodin's financial policy. Your goal? You want to ensure that the organizations' business processes are directed on the basis of accurate, up-to-date comprehensive financial insights.

A Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
10 years relevant working experience
Knowledge of and working experience with SAP and Exact
Miscrosoft Office Advanced User
Further, your responsibilities are listed below:
Check, evaluate and communicate, solicited or unsolicited, reports on all financial matters related to Tebodin to the Country and Area Management, in the form of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, consolidated annual plans and the consolidated medium-term plan, within the formats applicable for the various reports, with the aim of keeping the Country and Area Management informed of the organization s financial situation.
Administrative organization
Take responsibility for developing, structuring and monitoring the administrative organization and related control methods and procedures, in order to assure effective and efficient control of activities.
Offer advice, solicited or unsolicited, to the Country and Area Management on acquisitions, the formation or reorganization of business units, tax issues, currency issues and financing issues concerning the Country and Area, within the existing legislation and regulations and, if required, in consultation with internal and external legal advisors, in order to provide the Country and Area Management with recommendations that will enable him/her to take financially substantiated and responsible decisions.
Assess and specify the financial consequences of investment proposals from the Country and Offices, in consultation with the applicant and Country and Area Management, in accordance with the procedures and formats, in order to contribute to the effective use of financial resources.
Risk minimization
Support Country and Area Management in identifying business risks and put forward proposals to manage those risks, for instance by taking out insurance, with the aim of hedging risks in business operations at acceptable costs.
Cash management
Manage money flows, within the parameters set by Bilfinger and Tebodin B.V., in order to optimize cash flows.
Fiscal affairs
Take responsibility for tax matters and tax returns, in compliance with legislation and regulations, with a view to minimizing the effective tax burden for the concern.
Financial administration
Take responsibility for the financial administration of Country and Offices, within the framework of the concern s financial policy, aimed at a timely and accurate recording of information, submission of financial reports and management of liquidities.
External contacts
Maintain contacts with local and international banks, accountants, tax departments and Group Finance, with the aim of achieving an optimum transfer of knowledge and having someone to fall back on in emergencies.
Carry out audits in Offices, within the rules drawn up by Tebodin and Bilfinger Group, with the aim of checking the appropriateness of financial policies and the accuracy of financial reports.
Department Management
Depending on the seniority of the candidate, you will also take responsibility for the department management tasks: focussing on the implementation of HR policy within the department, in consultation with the HR department, within the framework of HR policy and (in some cases) in consultation with the higher management, in order to achieve appropriate qualitative and quantitative staffing.
