Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and execute intricate floral arrangements for weddings, events, and bespoke orders, showcasing artistic flair and technical expertise.
- Manage and mentor junior florists, providing guidance on design techniques, client communication, and operational efficiency.
- Source and procure premium-quality flowers and foliage, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining high standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and implementing effective storage practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Diploma or Certificate in Floral Design or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of floral artistry.
- Holds relevant certifications such as AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers) or similar, showcasing advanced proficiency in floral design.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the floral industry, gaining diverse exposure to varied design styles and client needs.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of floral industry standards and best practices.
