Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their performance and promote professional development.
- Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage through effective control.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues and exceeding expectations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate and prioritize housekeeping tasks, including room assignments and special requests, to optimize workflow and ensure timely service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas, identifying and addressing any maintenance needs or safety hazards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports on housekeeping activities, including room status, guest feedback, and incident reports, to the management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional guest service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required to begin.
- Possess relevant hospitality certifications such as Certified Room Attendant (CRA) or similar to validate expertise.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of the field.
- Should be able to speak and understand English fluently, with proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to use housekeeping-related software and equipment, such as cleaning machines and inventory management systems.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Exhibits a proactive and service-oriented approach, with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and a positive attitude.
