Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain detailed design and manufacturing drawings, material take-off lists, and technical documentation packages. Develop 3D models and generate production drawings using Autodesk Inventor (2025 or newer). Draft hydraulic and electrical schematics (advantageous). Ensure compliance with API Q1 10th Edition, ISO 9001:2015, and QHSE requirements within the Quality Management System. Support internal and external audits, liaising with management representatives to ensure closure of CAPA items. Conduct technical reviews of product specifications, standards, and design revisions, ensuring accurate implementation Collaborate with production teams to resolve fabrication and assembly issues and continuously improve design efficiency. Assist with cost estimation and proposal drawings for client quotations. Ensure proper fi le management, version control, and drawing revisions. Provide technical support during fabrication, including inspection and verification of design packages on the shop floor. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fi eld. Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, and manufacturing processes. Highly proficient in Autodesk Inventor (7+ years). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Familiarity with raw material standards and grades.

Knowledgeable in API Q1 10th Edition & ISO management systems.


Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years experience in mechanical design engineering.


Skill Requirements:

Strong organizational and file/data management skills. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Competence in 3D modeling and generating production drawings from models is mandatory. In-depth design software knowledge of Autodesk Inventor. Oil and Gas Equipment, Products and Material knowledge. Communication and reporting skills. Leadership skills.
