Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Prepare Feasibility Study Reports, Bid, Basic and Detail Engineering documents for CCPP, Desalination plant, and other type plants.

  2. Prepare I&C Design Basis, Control Philosophy, Technical Specification for DCS, SIS( Safety Instruments System), PLC, Instrumentation, Plant security system(CCTV/Access system）, CEMS, I&C cables, Fire detection and alarm system, I&C Laboratory, Plant control system Cyber Security system, etc.

  3. Prepare the whole plant control system logic diagram as per the process function description.

  4. Prepare Vendor Evaluation Report and Technical Bid Evaluation Report.

  5. Co-ordinate with Owner / Owner’s Engineers / Vendors for timely approval of design documents.

  6. Provide site support to resolve issues for timely completion of project within budgeted cost.

  7. Perform cost optimization.

  8. Participate in technical negotiations with the project owner and the equipment supplier.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, 8-10 years of basic and detail design experience in design institutes.

  2. At least 3 years logic designed experience and have designed the following process system control logic diagram

  3. Boiler/HRSG and its auxiliary system(include feed water system etc.), turbine auxiliary system(include condensate system, deaerator system etc.), the interlock logic diagram between boiler/HRSG and turbine.

  4. Preferred have the logic design experience for CCPP, Desalination plant or Fossil-fired power plant. Middle-East experience preferred.

  5. Conversant with International Code and Standards like IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI, ISO, ASME, ISA, BS, etc.
