Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for all aspects of site analysis, planning, conceptual and detailed design, and preparation of construction documentation. You will also take a leading role in developing project specifications and overseeing a team of landscape architects and designers working on multiple projects concurrently.

Reporting directly to the Associate Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in maintaining design quality, leading project delivery, and fostering collaboration within the studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of both hard and soft landscape elements for architectural and urban design projects and competitions.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and external consultants to deliver constructable, high-quality landscape designs.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Promote design excellence and sustainability across all stages of project development.
  • Support design teams through research and innovation in landscape design and materials.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight to junior team members.
  • Contribute proactively to the studio s evolving design culture and project delivery processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with international exposure.
  • Professional affiliation (e.g. CMLI, ASLA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong design and technical capability, demonstrated through a portfolio of built or advanced projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D software such as Rhino or SketchUp.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
