Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Landscape Engineer for Infrastructure, roads and landscaping project to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to assigned works.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supervise all soft and hard landscape O&M activities across parks, gardens, road corridors, and public areas.

  • Oversee horticultural works including planting, pruning, irrigation adjustments, fertilization, and pest/disease management.

  • Provide technical guidance to landscape teams, inspectors, and contractors to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Review and approve work orders, site instructions, and method statements related to landscape activities.

  • Conduct detailed site audits to assess plant health, irrigation efficiency, soil condition, and compliance with DMT/DRM requirements.

  • Review and evaluate landscape design proposals and planting plans for sustainability, aesthetics, and ease of maintenance.

  • Support the implementation of smart irrigation technologies and water-optimization solutions.

  • Coordinate with Irrigation Engineers on water demand, seasonal schedules, and resolving irrigation issues.

  • Performs well-defined field engineering assignments primarily involving constructability reviews and the observation of work in progress

  • Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards

  • Assists construction personnel with general technical details

  • Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutions

  • Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees

  • Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards

  • Maintains construction technical catalogs, supplier data, and other literature pertaining to the project

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of O&M experiences) practical O&M experience agriculture or landscape engineer certificate

  • Demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision on major road and general infrastructure and park projects preferably in Abu Dubai.

  • Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.

  • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

  • Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices.

  • Registered as a practicing Engineer in Abu Dhabi or having an equivalency certificate issued by Ministry of Education.
