Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice to executive leadership and business units in your region.
Contract drafting, review and negotiation
Matter management including litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes.
Advise on employment law matters, internal investigations, and HR policies.
Monitor and assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify potential compliance risks.
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Support training programs to educate employees on compliance and ethics.
Maintain records of compliance activities and prepare reports for management.
Collaborate with legal, risk, and operational teams to address compliance issues.
Stay up to date with regulatory changes and advise relevant departments accordingly.
Participate in risk assessments and help implement mitigation strategies.
Respond to inquiries and concerns related to compliance matters.
Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Skills, Qualifications, And Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Law.
- Further qualifications in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, legal (at a firm and inhouse).
- Strong understanding of and proven practice with regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Adheres to high ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Experience with compliance management systems or tools.
- Knowledge of GDPR, AML, SOX, or other relevant regulations.
- Certification such as CCEP, CRCM, or similar is a plus.
- Multinational or cross-border compliance experience.
- Proficient in Hindi
Desired Candidate Profile
