Logistics Planning & Coordination

• Plan and manage logistics operations for MEP materials, equipment, and tools across multiple project sites.

• Develop logistics plans, delivery schedules, and material flow strategies aligned with project programs.

• Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure smooth material movement.

• Manage site logistics including laydown areas, storage, and access routes.

• Support project mobilization and demobilization activities related to logistics.

Material Handling & Transportation

• Coordinate transportation of MEP materials, heavy equipment, and prefabricated items to site.

• Ensure proper handling, loading, unloading, and storage of materials in line with manufacturer recommendations and safety standards.

• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays or site access constraints.

• Coordinate crane usage, hoisting schedules, and offloading plans where required.

• Arrange return of rejected, excess, or damaged materials as required.

Inventory & Store Management

• Oversee site stores and warehouses to ensure accurate stock control and material traceability.

• Monitor material issuance, returns, and surplus management.

• Implement inventory control systems to minimize losses, damages, and shortages.

• Conduct periodic stock checks and support reconciliation with procurement and site teams.

Authority, Permits & Compliance

• Coordinate logistics-related permits, gate passes, road permits, and authority approvals as required.

• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic, municipality, and site logistics regulations.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors regarding site logistics requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation for logistics approvals and compliance audits.

Cost Control & Optimization

• Monitor logistics costs and optimize transportation, storage, and handling expenses.

• Negotiate with transporters and logistics vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.

• Support claims, variations, and cost reports related to logistics activities.

Health, Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure all logistics operations comply with company HSE policies and site safety procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments for logistics activities including lifting, transportation, and material handling.

• Coordinate with HSE team to ensure safe work practices and incident prevention.

• Report and follow up on logistics-related incidents or near misses.

Reporting & Team Leadership

• Supervise logistics officers, storekeepers, and logistics coordinators.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.

• Track KPIs related to material delivery, utilization, and logistics performance.

• Support training and guidance of junior logistics staff..
