Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the charge in creating an extraordinary destination for sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Manager - Design for Sports Assets to play a pivotal role in the design and development of state-of-the-art sports facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of designing modern sports venues.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for sports assets, ensuring all designs align with Qiddiya s vision and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including sports organizations, to define specific requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs.
  • Manage a team of designers and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable sports facilities that enhance athlete and spectator experiences.
  • Develop design standards and guidelines that adhere to international regulations and best practices in sports facility design.
  • Conduct regular design reviews to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the overall vision.
  • Engage with local and international sports venue experts to incorporate cutting-edge trends and technologies into the design.
  • Ensure all designs comply with environmental sustainability standards and promote efficient use of resources.
  • Present design concepts to senior leadership and other stakeholders, articulating the vision, benefits, and feasibility of the proposed designs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing sports facilities or large-scale architectural projects.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design experience, particularly in sports or entertainment sectors.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging varied stakeholders.
  • Understanding of sustainability practices and regulations related to sports facility design.
