To support all external communication initiatives, leading in particular on online/social media and Corporate Social Responsibility areas, and assist the Assistant General Manager, external communication.
a) Communication: Prepare consistent and engaging corporate messaging; Proactively engage business groups to promote regular
and open communications; Ensure communications, through any media, are delivered clearly & effectively; Ensure communications
are always on brand; Track & measure effectiveness of communication activities
b) Stakeholder Management: Maintain a network of contacts to support effective communication delivery; Ensure key stakeholders
(internal & external) are appropriately & regularly updated; Act as a Brand Ambassador in all interactions; Educate stakeholders on
the importance of effective internal communication; Deputize for the AGM, HR (IC) where required
c) Project Management: Deliver internal communication projects to time, quality & budget; Ensure Gulf Bank s brand pervades all
project activities; Work effectively with external suppliers and internal customers, particularly Marketing, to deliver world-class
activities / events, e.g. Open Day, Town Halls, Ramadan initiatives, etc.
d) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Direct CSR activity; Develop & lead a culture change in CSR awareness and involvement
across GB; Maintain effective working relationships with internal & external customers / groups responsible for CSR activity
e) Channel Management / Maintenance: Lead on social media initiatives and online development programs; Help maintain upkeep
and robustness of GB s internal communication channels; Review effectiveness of GB channels to ensure fit for purpose.
Leadership & People Management:
Exhibit strong leadership by managing performance, developing and motivating staff.
Allocate work to reportees, nominate for training as per Gulf Banks s guidelines and manage leave and overtime to ensure
Policies & Procedures:
Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitors their
adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Ensure compliance with all CBK, GB operational procedures, Risk and AML policies
