Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the Management and control of AD Ports Group s inventory to ensure availability of material and capital/MRO spares across all Clusters and Lead, control, in coordination with end-users, the procurement and stock holding (Inventory Management) of all materials required to support the company operations and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain optimization of cost investments and availability of materials to ensure efficient and effective port operations and planning material requirements in accordance with the company's five-year maintenance plan, discuss and confirm requirements and specifications with end-users and the procurement team.
- Lead aging analysis, identify obsolete, redundant, and surplus/excess materials, and set up a plan utilizing in operations or recommend to write-off/dispose.
- Establish and implement strategies for determining the economical stocking parameters and procurement strategies and review/endorse/authorize Purchase requisitions, inventory transactions, task orders, material requisition as per operational requirements.
- Plan and conduct physical verification audits on all AD Ports Group inventory sites ensuring maximum efficiency and reduction in the operational cost.
- Develop Cataloguing and Coding guidelines for all materials and spare parts under AD Ports Group and analyses stock cover and long-term price agreement strategies for operational equipment and maintenance spare parts.
- Support procurement teams in technical clarifications and participate in situations involving material transfers to the warehouse and discrepancies related to material specifications where a deadlock exists between vendors and the users.
- Review and endorse/authorize Purchase Requisitions (PR), inventory transactions, call-off orders, material requisitions, stock replenishment report, repair/refurbishment requisitions etc. as per operational requirements.
- Prepare management reports as per the stakeholder requirements reflecting inventory status, issues and recommendation plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- CPIM is preferred
- Solid knowledge in inventory management software, forecasting techniques, and purchasing.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in Inventory Management & Supply Chain Management related functions and aspects.
- Experience in ISO Standards
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
