Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Senior Manager – Marketing & Communications is responsible for leading and overseeing all marketing, branding, public relations, and communication activities for Event Venue. The role focuses on strengthening brand positioning, driving audience engagement, supporting business growth, and enhancing the organization’s reputation across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business growth plans.
Lead branding initiatives to ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all platforms and events.
Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, entertainment events, and venue services.
Manage corporate communications, media relations, public relations activities, and crisis communication when required.
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, social media strategy, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, strategic partners, event organizers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities and improve market positioning.
Manage the creation of high-quality marketing content, press releases, presentations, promotional materials, and corporate publications.
Prepare and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution and ROI optimization.
Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and communications team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with corporate branding guidelines, communication standards, and organizational policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or professional marketing certification is preferred.
8–12 years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial leadership role.
Experience within events, exhibitions, hospitality, entertainment, or venue management industries is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of brand management, PR, digital marketing, and strategic communications.
Proven experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical, budgeting, and project management capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in event destination marketing and international promotions.
Familiarity with media production, sponsorship marketing, and corporate partnerships.
Arabic language proficiency would be an advantage.
