Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Design and review HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related mechanical services.
  • Prepare load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g., HAP, Ductulator, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local authority standards.
  • Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
  • Coordinate with other MEP and civil teams to resolve design and site-related issues.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities at site.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Support procurement by preparing material requisitions and reviewing vendor quotations.
  • Assist in preparing project progress reports and attending coordination meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements during all project stages.

    Desired Candidate Profile

    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in HVAC design, installation, and site supervision (preferably in building construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects).
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW144).
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of HAP or similar software preferred.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
    • UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
