Senior Site Mechanical Engineer in UAE manages on-site mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Fire life safety) from installation to testing commissioning, ensuring compliance with UAE codes, designs, budgets, and safety standards, coordinating teams (contractors, consultants), troubleshooting issues, reviewing drawings, and preparing reports for large projects like high-rise towers, high-end industrial projects, involves project management, Quality control, safety Key Responsibilities Construction Supervision & Technical Leadership • Supervision of all Mechanical works for high-end commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments across the UAE complying Authorities regulation’s, Contract documents and Specified standards. • Supervise of installation of the Boiler’s & Laundry equipment’s • Supervision of MEP works required for laundry equipment’s including steam piping, plumbing, gas piping, compressed air piping etc., • Verifying Equipment installation, testing and commissioning and performance of Mechanical equipment’s, Boilers, Laundry Machines • Supervision of firefighting & fire alarm system as per standards and local Authorities regulations • Conduct design reviews, shop drawing reviews, material inspections and constructability assessments during construction stages. • Ensuring all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, contract documents, identifying issues and timely taking action for implementing corrective actions as per approved completion Programs. • Coordinating with Clients, Contractors and tracking progress and providing regular updates to stake holders. • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical installation issues promptly. Documentation & Site Management • Review and manage site documentation including: o Material submittals, shop drawings, and technical submissions o Method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) o Inspection requests (MIRs), field inspection reports (FIRs), and NCRs o RFIs, site instructions, variation assessments, and technical clarifications and • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports in line with consultancy standards. Quality, Safety & Compliance • Enforcing Quality Assurance protocols to ensure all work meets specified standards, design, design requirements, Building code, UAE (RAK) regulations, UAE Fire & Life , NFPA standards • Ensure adherence to HSE/FLS policies, site safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Technical Management: Review/approve shop drawings, technical submittals, resolve clashes, provide technical support, and assist in testing/commissioning.
