Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – QA/QC with a strong Facility Management (FM) industry background to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance, inspection, and control of mechanical systems across FM projects. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  1. Implement and manage QA/QC procedures for mechanical works in FM operations.

  2. Review method statements, ITPs, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems.

  3. Conduct inspections and quality audits for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, and associated MEP systems.

  4. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.

  5. Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are closed effectively.

  6. Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and consultants on quality-related matters.

  7. Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, and documentation for audits and handovers.

  8. Support continuous improvement initiatives within FM mechanical operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  2. 7–10 years of experience, with significant exposure to FM QA/QC mechanical works in the UAE.

  3. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical FM assets.

  4. Familiar with ISO standards, authority approvals, and QA/QC best practices.

  5. Excellent documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.

  6. Immediate or short notice period preferred.

  7. UAE experience is mandatory.
