Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead all mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in all maintenance operations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs while ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Conduct routine inspections and prepare daily maintenance checklists and reports.
- Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee spares planning and maintain sufficient inventory of critical spare parts.
- Collaborate with production and other departments to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through kaizen initiatives and process optimization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the cement industry.
- Hands-on experience with Kiln, Coal Mill, and Cement Mill (Ball Mill) maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, plant equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance data analysis and reporting.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement practices.
