Vogue Arabia is always interested in talented salespeople driven to expand Vogue Arabia’s market influence. We are looking for sales professionals with 6-15 years of media sales experience across both print and digital and strong experience selling a luxury/premium media product.
Candidates without relevant local experience and a client network will not be considered. Candidates should already have extensive contacts within the GCC media market.
The right candidate is strategic, organized, tenacious, calm under pressure, and able to juggle numerous tasks, as you will be involved in all areas of Vogue Arabia’s advertising sales across media and branded content. The ability to effectively plan and execute a detailed sales approach is critical. You should be fazed by little and able to solve all problems, great or small, calmly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop a holistic, well-structured, and action-oriented plan to target immediate and long-term revenue opportunities, generate new prospects, and grow accounts
Consistently close new business and stay on target to exceed targets
Deliver well organized updates to the Associate Publisher and senior management team concerning sales progress
Work collaboratively with our internal team to scope out and execute projects and deliverables you sell for new clients
Constantly think of innovative ways to sell into the world’s leading brands and agencies
Develop and present sales presentations to senior level players in the industry with ease
Network and liaise with lower-level media planners, obtain campaign briefs, and construct media plans
Think and act strategically with the intention of strengthening Nervora’s and Vogue Arabia’s brand and position within the market
Robust regional network of agencies and brands within industries including Fashion, Luxury, Beauty, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Tourism, Automotive, Technology, and others in the GCC
At least 6-15 years of experience in premium media sales
Strong understanding of online advertising, products, and technologies
Aggressive, results-oriented personality
Demonstrated track record in print and digital ad sales and account management
Strong consultative sales and relationship building skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Influential and analytical by nature
High energy and passion
