Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and customization of Odoo ERP modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

  • Design and implement new Odoo features, focusing on efficient code and scalable solutions.

  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.

  • Troubleshoot complex Odoo issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.

  • Develop and maintain REST API integrations with external systems and third-party services.

  • Implement business workflows, approval processes, and automation logic.

  • Support deployment activities, system upgrades, and environment configurations.

  • Ensure proper documentation of all technical developments and changes.

  • Participate in testing cycles to ensure system stability and performance.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and contribute to continuous improvement

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Odoo development (Odoo v14 and above).

  • Strong proficiency in Python, Odoo ORM, XML, and QWeb.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and performance optimization.

  • Hands-on experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD workflows.

  • Solid understanding of REST API development and integrations.

  • Familiarity with Linux environments and Docker.

  • Good understanding of Odoo security (access rights, record rules).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Odoo Certified Developer (any version).

  • Experience in large-scale ERP implementations.

  • Familiarity with Saudi localization (ZATCA, GOSI, MOL).

  • Experience in government or semi-government projects is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
