Roles & Responsibilities
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To provide functional support to the Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP) Engineers and to assist in development, management, control and continuous improvement of the flydubai AMP for all aircraft types in the flydubai fleet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Maintenance Programme team in reviewing and amending all flydubai AMP ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintains control of Maintenance Programme source documentation, ensuring proper revision status, availability and traceability of all documents to enable development and optimization of the AMPs.
- Serve as primary liaison between GCAA, compliance monitoring and internal departments/sections to organize and conduct AMP related meetings.
- Supports the preparation of cost optimizing strategies within the framework of the AMP and contributes to implementation of such strategies.
- Takes ownership of formulating Critical repetitive inspection requirements on behalf of the Maintenance Programme Engineer as per requirements of the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) or any other documents as required, from time to time.
- Manages and verifies AMP-related documentation and forms, ensuring accurate recording, completeness, and integrity of programme data.
- Liaises with Technical Planning to ensure that the Manpower requirements and groundtime utilisation are always updated and in sync with the current AMP Revision.
- Develops and monitors AMP bridging plans to ensure seamless implementation during AMP revisions or major program changes.
- Supports and helps facilitate various audits conducted internally or externally covering all aspects of the flydubai AMPs, along with the procedures and regulations associated with it.
- Provides support in maintaining the quality and integrity of maintenance program data within AMOS, ensuring all references, intervals, and all other data is accurate and up to date.
- Evaluates and assesses material and tooling requirements across the flydubai fleet for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) requirements and co-ordinates with respective stakeholders to ensure these requirements get accomplished.
- Verifies and monitors the configuration integrity and its impact on component requirements and their setup.
- Manages and amends the Entry into Service (EIS) checklist from an AMP standpoint for all new aircraft inductions ensuring database accuracy and compliance readiness.
- Monitors continuing compliance of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme with regulatory requirements, OEM revisions and operational changes, ensuring timely incorporation of applicable updates and amendments.
- Effectively performs any other duties assigned by the line manager from time to time in alignment with departmental objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Fluent in English
- 5 Years experience in Engineering & Maintenance out of which at least 3 years in Maintenance Programmes
- Knowledge of AMOS is preferable
- Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
- ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence or Engineering Apprenticeship
