Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Seeking a skilled Underwriter to assess and underwrite property risks and prepare quotations in line with company’s underwriting guidelines working closely with brokers, BDEs, and clients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Independently underwrite medium to large Property and GA risks .
Ensure underwriting quality, guideline adherence, treaty compliance, and effective risk transfer.
Prepare competitive quotations aligned with NGI’s underwriting philosophy.
Coordinate with branches, brokers, and BDEs to maximise business conversion.
Support disciplined and profitable portfolio growth while improving turnaround times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree / MBA.
Years of Experience : minimum 5 years of experience in Property and General insurance Underwriting
Holding a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
