Senior Operator - Recycling EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

EHS

Follows all safety procedures and practices of handling molten metal while casting on various casting centre.

Respects and reinforces all safe behaviours with regards of mobile equipment handling and interactions with mobile equipment in the entire plant

Contributes to maintain 5S in the area.

People Management

Works as a good team player and coordinates various activities of Sorting, Casting/Liquid Metal Transfer and Furnace operations with other members of the team.

Machine

Checks the equipment and control systems to have zero cast defects or aborts.

Operates the Casting units/Liquid Metal Transfer effectively and efficiently  to achieve target recovery and efficiency

Production

Contributes, along with team, in achieving shift’s production target in terms of both quality and quantity.

Standards

Follow the casting operations, metallurgical and safety procedures as per EGA Quality Management system and as per the requirements of International standards – ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Updates the online controlling and documenting system (MES, Analytics, SSM, OEE, EPMS, AS400 system and SAP) with valid reasons to observe and achieve KPIs.

Material

Efficiently utilizes consumables and tools and encourage others.

Miscellaneous

Actively participates in Suggestion scheme.

Provides feedback to improve recovery and quality of product.
