Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractors baseline programs and provide official responses aligned with contract terms and Parsons planning standards
- Verify that resources, sequencing, and durations are achievable for timely completion
- Develop consolidated master schedules linking multiple project packages and identifying interdependencies
- Detect emerging risks early and document them within the project risk register
- Analyze updated schedules to identify slippages, delays, and critical-path issues and propose practical mitigation plans
- Perform What-if studies and time-impact analyses for variations and potential events
- Prepare high-quality program updates, monthly progress reports, dashboards, and milestone presentations
- Review and assess EoT claims, disruption claims, and delay submissions using industry-recognized methodologies
- Work closely with contractors and clients to resolve scheduling challenges and secure approvals
- Attend kick-off, technical coordination, utilities, and progress review meetings and document outcomes with precise minutes
- Create tracking tools and logs to monitor critical issues during design and construction
- Establish progress measurement criteria and KPIs with project teams for accurate monitoring
- Provide analytical written responses to contractor notices using planning logic and contract understanding
- Maintain organized contemporary records to support claims and contractual decisions
- Issue delay notices and formal communications for contractor underperformance when required
- Mentor junior planning engineers and provide leadership support within the planning team

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for major civil and infrastructure works
- Strong experience on highways, interchanges, bridges, tunnels, and utilities projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 with strong understanding of scheduling principles
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- RTA project experience is an advantage
- Deep knowledge of construction sequencing and industry best practices
