Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, including cost and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers on project scheduling best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in project management methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project planning and scheduling.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a planning engineer in the EPC & Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
